Crafted with love and care.
It's funny life, isn't it, how you meet people, or even just getting acquainted in the world of facebook land.I have got to know (in the sense I haven't even met them yet) some really lovely people. Some that are in the same boat as me and are indie writer's, or even just friend's of theirs and like talking about the same interests as myself, but I was lucky enough to find a lovely lady called Heather Kelly and she has a wonderful talent for arts and crafts.
I spotted some of her work on another author's page, and she had done a fab job of creating two of the characters for her book. I thought I would be cheeky enough and ask her if she could do some of my characters for mine. I was delighted when she said yes she would love to.
Anyway, this is what she created for me.
Grace, Emma and Ceber
Emma and Ceber
Heather creates lots of other wonderful things besides dolls, I had a look on her facebook page and it is filled with cards, cakes and all sorts of lovely craft trinkets. A very talented lady I must say, and a wonderful find for me.
When she has time, she said she will create more characters for my book.
All I can say is; I can't wait to see them Heather :)
They look beautiful. I'm sure these props will really help you to bring your stories to life for the children :) xx
